Obituary

Charlotte L. Weston, 76, of Murphysboro, passed away at 4:44 a.m. Monday, July 27, 2020, at Helia Healthcare of Energy, Energy, Illinois.

Charlotte was born on February 12, 1944, in Chester, Illinois, to William Ardell Smith and Geneva (Waldbeiser) Smith.

She had worked as a cook for both Murphysboro and Herrin Elk's Lodges. She liked gardening and going to yard sales.

Charlotte married Carl Weston in 1979 and he survives.

Other survivors include three children Julie Eisenhauer and Darrell (Barb) Eisenhauer, both of Murphysboro, and Michelle (Tom) Liebenrood of Carterville;

three step children Peggy Alvarado, Jr. Weston, and Mark Weston;

four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren;

and two sisters June Manus and Maxine Cripps, both of Murphysboro.

She was preceded in death by one son Jeffery Allen Eisenhauer, three great grandchildren, four sisters and four brothers.

There will be visitation from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Pettett Funeral Home, and family funeral services will be private. For more information please visit www.pettettfuneralhome.com
