Dorotha "Dottie" M Felt, 83, passed away at 1:42 a.m. Thursday, December 27, 2018, at her residence in Murphysboro.

Dorotha was born on January 11, 1935, in Granite City, IL to Omar Noble and Verna (Conaway) Noble.

She was a mother, homemaker, and had worked at SIU-Carbondale in the cafeteria for more than ten years. She also took care of the elderly.

Mrs. Felt was a member of Christ Community Church in Murphysboro. She loved to dance and play cards. She especially loved her grandkids and great and great great grandkids.

Dottie married Rev. Victor Cripps on January 11, 1951, and he preceded her in death on July 18, 1990. Then she married Billy Dallas on July 10, 1995, and he preceded her in death on September 29, 2005. She also married Gordon Felt on June 24, 2009, and he survives.

Other survivors include one daughter Janie Hickam of Alto Pass;
many foster children including Steven Smith of Alto Pass;
four grandchildren and their spouses, Amber Farley, Joseph Hickam, Kasandra Hickam/Duncan, and Chad Falaster;
fifteen great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren;
a step daughter Kathy (Mike) Guetersloh and son Jacob;
one brother William "Bud" Noble of Humbolt, TN;
and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, two brothers, three sisters and her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, December 31, 2018, at Pettett Funeral Home with Rev. Clifford Waller officiating and burial at Alto Pass Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family. Please feel free to leave a condolence for the family on our website.
