Dorris Gene Sullivan, 85, passed away Monday August 12 at Manor Court of Carbondale, Illinois.

Dorris was born October 29,1933, to Chester Allen Darnall and Mary (Bradley) Darnall in DeSoto, Illinois.

Mrs. Sullivan was a member of the DeSoto Methodist Church, Eastern Star, Elks, Moose, Eagles, and the VFW, and American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by one son Kenneth and Holly Sullivan of Donna Texas, one brother-in-law Lee Sullivan of Murphysboro, two sisters-in-law Peggy Darnall, and Phylis Sides both of Murphysboro, two grandchildren Tyson Sullivan of DeSoto, Illinois, and Conchetta Sullivan of Jena, Louisiana, and one niece Deann Darnall of Murphysboro, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her by her parents, husband Charles R Sullivan, and one brother Vernon Darnall.

Mrs. Sullivan has given the ultimate gift by donating her body to the Saint Louis University School of Medicine and there will be no services. For more information please visit
