Jason Edward Lane, 35, of Murphysboro, passed away at 3:55 p.m., Tuesday, February 5, 2019.

Jason was born on February 18, 1983, in Carbondale, to Ronnie Lane, Sr. and Cathy (Qualls) Lane.

He enjoyed playing his guitar.

Jason has worked as a clerk in area convenience stores.

He is survived by three children, Emily, Jaylyn and Hailee;

his father Ronnie Lane, Sr. of Murphysboro;

one sister, Carla Denton and fiancee Josh Barclay;

one brother, Ronnie Lane, Jr. and wife Heather.

He was preceded in death by his mother Cathy Lane.

His body has been cremated. There will be no services.
