Girls, Monte and I want to express our sympathy during this time of loss. We have fond memories of your dad and your mother. I taught with your dad at Herrin High School and, of course, also knew them through Bert. Have on to those precious memories as you go on in tribute to your parents. Monte and Bonnie Franklin

Kathryn was my cousin. I always looked up to her. She was talented in so my ways. I have so many wonderful memories of her. I don't believe there was anything she couldn't do or wouldn't try. She was an artist, a crafter, a seamstress, a cook, the list goes on. A loving mother and grandmother. I have so many good stories of her, memories I will cherish. Rest in peace Kathryn. My heartfelt condolences to her children, grandchildren, and siblings. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
