Obituary

Sharon Sue Guetersloh, age 79, passed away at 12:37 p.m. Saturday, November 30, 2019, at Marshall Browning Hospital in DuQuoin, IL.

Sharon was born on March 11, 1940, in Anna, Illinois, to Claude R. Wright and Gladys (Corzine) Wright.

She was a housewife and enjoyed cooking very much.

Sharon was an angelic singer.

Sharon married Charles H. Guetersloh on March 29, 1958, in Neunert, Illinois, at the Lutheran Parsonage, and he survives.

Other survivors include four children Mark (Cheryl) Guetersloh of Ullin, Tom (Penny) Guetersloh and Christopher (Angie) Guetersloh, and Kari Lynn (Tom) Schroeder, all of Murphysboro;

eight grandchildren Aleesa Royster, Joseph Guetersloh, Johnathan Guetersloh, Sarah Guetersloh, Elizabeth Pyatt, Lesley Guetersloh, Charles Jonathan Schroeder and Abigail Schroeder;

four great grandchildren Roxie Royster, Clarence Royster, Isaiah Pyatt, and Alayna Pyatt;

and two sisters in law Ruth Ann Wright of Houston, TX and Linda Wright of Murphysboro.

She was preceded in death by three brothers Robert, Claude, and Bill Wright and her parents.

Her body will be cremated and a private service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the DuQuoin Nursing and Rehab, DuQuoin, Illinois. For more information, please visit www.pettettfuneralhome.com.
