Obituary for Teddie Joe Reiman

Teddie Joe Reiman, 84, passed away at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday, November 27, 2019, at St. Joseph Memorial Hospital In Murphysboro.

Teddie Joe was born on July 7, 1935, in Jackson County, Illinois, to Noah Reiman and Ruby (Zimmerman) Reiman.

He had worked as a truck driver with several truck lines in the area.

Mr. Reiman was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church in Murphysboro, and a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus.

Teddie Joe married Loretta (Koenig) on January 11, 1954, in Murphysboro, Illinois, and she survives.

Other survivors include two sons Ed and Frances Reiman and Mike and Mary Beth Reiman, all of Murphysboro;

five grandchildren Edward Reiman of Murphysboro, Jeff (Amy) Reiman of Bloomington, IL, Tim (Ashleigh) Reiman of Sesser, T. J. (Traci) Reiman of Herrin, and Jared (Ashton) Clutts of Carbondale;

four great grandchildren Adam Reiman, Adah Reiman, Ryne Reiman, and Kennedy Clutts;

and five sister in laws, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one son Patrick Allen Reiman, seven brothers, two sisters, and his parents.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Murphysboro. Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church. The family would prefer memorials be made to the Knights of Columbus # 988. For more information, please visit www.pettettfuneralhome.com.
