Thomas James Brown, 62, of St. Louis, Missouri, was found at his residence on Saturday evening, September 5, 2020.

Thomas was born on August 30, 1958, in Murphysboro, Illinois, to Monte Brown and Delores (Holmes) Brown.

Mr. Brown served in the U.S. Army.

He had worked at Wal-Mart in Carbondale, and had been the head of the plumbing department at Tru-Value in Carbondale.

Tom was a very avid St. Louis Cardinal Fan and Dallas Cowboy Fan!

He is survived by two daughters Carolyn Williams and her husband Tristan Williams of St. Louis, Missouri and Courtney Brown of Brecken Ridge Hills, Missouri;

one grandson Aries Williams of St. Louis, Missouri;

and six sisters Diane (Charles) Glasser of Murphysboro, Kathy (David) Reiman of Nashville, TN, Robin (Jerry) Henry of Murphysboro, Donna (David) Bush of Omaha, NE, Karla (Dennis) Karnes and Carol Brown, both of Murphysboro.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Gravesite services will be held at 2 P.M Thursday, September 10, 2020, at Murdale Gardens of Memory. Military services will be conducted by the Paul Stout American Legion Post # 127, and the Patriots will also pay tribute to their fallen comrade.

Memorials may be made to the family.
